Life can throw all kinds of stuff at us, regardless of our age, race, gender or sexuality. Each client has an individual reason for coming to counselling - there's nothing 'right or wrong' or 'too big/too small'.
It's not always easy to navigate, so that's why I'm here. I offer you a confidential, supportive space to explore yourself and your emotions without any judgement.
What to expect:
There's no lying down on a couch delving into your deepest childhood memories like you often see in films (unless you really want to, then that's cool with me). Instead, I work at your pace, and won't force you to talk about anything you don't want to. That doesn't mean there won't be a gentle challenge sometimes, as good therapy usually needs one, but the sessions are your space to work through whatever you want to bring.
As well as traditional talking therapy, I can also bring in elements of creative, art and movement therapy if that's something you'd like to explore.
